From pentest team to platform company.
Founded on the offensive
Ninad Mathpati founded SecurityBoat in June 2021 as an offensive-security firm: penetration testing, red teaming, and compliance-driven assessments for banks, insurers, government bodies, and digital-first startups. The work earned trust the only way it can be earned in this industry — by finding what others missed, and staying until it was fixed.
The pattern we couldn't ignore
Engagement after engagement, the same problem surfaced: findings died in PDFs. Reports were read once, filed, and forgotten while attack surfaces kept moving. So we built our own platform to run engagements as living records — first for ourselves, then for our clients.
From services to platform
That internal tool became TriNetra, SecurityBoat's Agentic Cybersecurity Platform: AI agents and vetted researchers working one unified record of risk, from first discovery to verified fix. The services expertise didn't go away — it's what the platform is made of.
